    Looking very smart, CelticMedic
I'd be interested to know how you do that Tim as I also cannot link my Flickr photos to xmarks. I download copies to Photobucket and link them from there. Did you need to do this with CelticMedic's photo to get it to show here or is there an easier way?

    Instructions for posting photos

    Can be found here.

As noted therein, the IMG tag is looking for a .JPG address, so simply linking to the Flickr page won't work. In order to identify the actual location of your image, go to the Flickr page, right-click on the image itself, select on "Properties" from the menu that appears, and then copy and paste what you see in the "Address (URL)" line.

Here's a quick example using the other photo on CelticMedic's Flickr page:

    - Go to URL: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1021286...n/photostream/

    - Right click on the image.

    - Select "Properties" from the menu

    - Copy the line showing up after "Address URL": http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3050/...25421e.jpg?v=0

    - Come back to XMarks and paste the above URL in between the [IMG] and [/IMG] tags, and you get this:

    Happy posting!

CelticMedic's link was to a parent page on Flickr which contains the photo. Right-click on the photo on that page, select "copy image location" or words to that effect, and we should have the image link in our "paste" buffer. Then return to the composition window of Xmarks, select the picture postcard icon above the text window, and paste in the URL of the .JPG file. Sometimes the information following the .JPG suffix (something like "?v=0") has appeared to cause a problem, and I've backspaced over it before clicking OK.

If you prefer, you could add by hand the leading bracket IMG close bracket, and the trailing bracket slash IMG close bracket. But the little postcard icon is easy/quick/safe.
