make mine an Ardbeg, the stuff is sheer delight! as the following demonstrates...
Kilts have turned my life upside down, but i can can say that every day is now an adventure, going where no kilt has gone before.
Everyday is a new challenge as i face my own fears, insecurities, and find myself winning, gaining confidence, self worth and above all, experienceing the joy of living!!
bit flowery? not at all, all this is, and can be, encouraged by stepping out and wearing the most wonderful garment on the face of this earth!!

I could not have said it better my self, if I was to say what you just said!!
even after all these years of being kilted I still get afraid in new situations now and again, but I just lift my chin a little higher and barge on through.
