Mess Dress Jackets on ebay: cloves take note!

cloves, there's a womens mess jacket on ebay right now; 17 hours left! Item number is 290044309498. It's dark blue, not black, but if it filts, you can carefully take off the insignia stripe and.....

Guys, ebay seller "Red Bank Surplus" is offering a pile of new wool/poly Navy Mess Dress jackets for $99. Item numbr 6620365594 is a 48 short, but he has about 6-8 more listed in different sizes. One's a 50R I think.

That's about half of what that jacket would cost from Marlowe, and it will look great with a kilt. You might have to replace the buttons, and they'll be dark blue, not black, but aside from that....

ALSO, search for "Spencer Short Coat Tuxedo Jacket" and you will see several smaller-size jackets which are essentially Eton Jackets exactly like the one I have for...............$29.99. There's a 40R in there, but most are 38's and 39's

    y'all OWE me.

hrmmm...no size is mentioned, just a bunch of measurements.....however, for that price it might be fun to just gamble.

thanks for the post! I appreciate it.

I'm glad that you are watching the jacket scene for us. I have learned a lot from your postings. Keep up the good work.
