A Model in our Midst? or Well done David White!
I don't how many X Markers subscribe to the Celtic Croft's catalogue, but I just received their Spring-Summer 2008 one and lo and behold on page 8 is our own David White! He is modeling a Feileadh-Mhor (Great Kilt) in two photos and looking quite smart.

I just got that one today! The lady on the cover looks pretty darn smart herself. What tartan is that kilt he's wearing? I really like it.

I think David is a proud Lamont so that would be my guess. I think he pulls of the great kilt rather well.

Yes he does. I do too, but I can't really wear it here in Colorado. They're only really practicle for costume wear and special occasions, and I would end up with heatstroke here on one of those festival days when the temp breaks 100f. I did that one day last summer. It was not fun... So I'm happy with my wee kilt and long plaid- which I can remove and stick in my trunk should the need arise.
