Hi Seanboy-- "moderated" is a great word. I think that sometimes when we post to a thread, if someone else hits it at about the same time we get knocked off and our posting vanishes into the ether. Happens to me about one in 12 postings, and probably some of the other guys as well (they just won't talk about, sorta like their E.D. problems). I doubt either of us is being singled out for "special moderation"... but then you never can tell...

The Moderating team here at X Marks the Scot do not single out people for moderation. If there are issues we contact you. Some types of posts are sent to a moderating queue before they reach the open forum. I'm sure a lot of the spammers that try to get through the XMTS forum software and the Mod Squad would be very happy if I posted exactly what the exact criteria was for those kinds of posts.

I believe that you are specifically referring to a thread with a link to a video clip you tried to post. I didn't bother looking at the clip because you yourself noted that it contained adult language. It will not be posted to the forum.

There are other kilt forums out there and one thing that is very special about X Marks the Scot.com is that this is a family friendly forum. There are certain types of materials, certain subjects, and certain types of language that are not allowed here. The membership here take pride in this being a place that we can be share with our families. We do our best to remain the ladies and gentlemen of X Marks the Scot.

This place might not be perfect, but it's a good one.

I hope you can take a moment read, understand, and follow the forum rules.
This will make your time here more pleasant for all of us.

Mac of Rathdown and SeanB -- If for some reason your posts are being "moderated" then you will be the first to know. The MODs here are very forthcoming (except for David ) as to why you are being moderated.

If you have a technical issue then post it in the Technical Issues forum. I'm sure it will be addressed.
