    This morning at the orthodontist....

Well, my daughter had an orthodontist appointment this morning, (at 7:45...ugggh.) I am wearing my Nightstalker SWK today, and the receptionist complimented me and mentioned that her son was wanting a kilt. We chatted a little about wearing the kilt and I jotted don the Xmarks address for her to give to him. She seemed pretty stoked, and thought he would be to. So keep an eye out for another Alaskan kiltie.....

I suppose I'll get in trouble for asking this, but there's more than one of you up there? With skeeters as big as they are in Alaska? I figure you must be head-to-toe in calamine!

Ahhh the Alaska state bird: Mosquito. You know I have actually worn <gasp> jeans instead of my kilt to some outdoors summertime events so I wouldn't end up with mosquito bites in.... ummm well you guys know where.

I understand that some species of Alaskan mosquitos are equipped with radar and infra-red detectors

That answers the age old question... What's worn under the kilt in Alaska? Bug repellent.

Cool story I hope he stops by.
