Murphy's Law...
With the Dumfries Burns Supper on my mind I added a nice celtic link sporran dress chain to my Christmas wish list...size M.
Santa didn't gave it, but no damage done...I ordered one just after Christmas...together with some light blue flashes and a pair of lovat green piper hose...size M.
First week of January I received an email..."light blue flashes not in stock...will take a while".
Bummer
Since I "need" the dress chain...I asked them for grey flashes..."no problem!"
Cool!
And today I received my order...
Woopie!
Uhh? standard hose...Large? Sporran chain size Small?
Okey...still time to sort it out...send an email...

You can always do some shopping in Dumfries, this is the perfect excuse.

Sounds like some of my experiences.
Not that I've had much of a bad time dealing with providers, I just have crumby luck . . . or timing . . . or kharma . . . or something!

Hoping all works out well once the supplier returns to business.

I had experiences like that with 1 supplier. But that was before I made it a personal policy of only ordering from Xmarks sponsors & members. BTW I am saving my pennies in my "KILT KITTY" for your kilt pins

Hi,
Murphy was an optimist.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.

Anderson's... Need more excuses?
Don't mix me into this equation - but I will still buy you wee dram to compensate for that other Murphy guy (!)
PS
Yes, bummer - I hate it when those things happen.
