My Alphakilt is here!!
Hey guys, came home tonite to find a box containing one of those preproduction models of the Glasgow. I was worried about the size its a inch smaller than the measurements I gave Daron for my new Edinburgh, but nobody else bid on it (EBay), so it was mine for $60. Now it fits good to alittle loose, a belt made it perfect, but of course now I am worried about the sizing. Does the models differ in fit among one to another? Another thing is the hidden pockets, they are hidden so will I can't find them. Any other Glasgow owners enlighten me? I can't wait till this weekend to wear it out in public. I am SOOOO STOKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I read somewhere that not all the glasgow prototypes had hidden pockets.

Have you tried contacting Daron through his web site?? I have not had the pleasure of getting one of his kilts yet.

As usual, Daron wrote back almost immediately, and info me that some of prototypes did follow normal measurements, so it could be alittle big, we went over exactly how I measured my massive gut, Skin or Covered (like my wife likes  ) and that some of Glasgow's did not have the "secret pocket" due the box pleats and how they lay between the legs. I will try to get pic's soon as I figure out how to do it.
