My Daughter has a kilt now.....

(of sorts anyway) and I am still jonesing for mine. Today for her upcoming Birthday she got a Tripp kilt from Hot Topic. I know many don't consider this a true kilt, but she is completely excited about it so I am happy for her. If it wasn't for the zipper and all of the pockets and shiny "bling" on it I don't think it would be too bad.

Of course she is rubbing it in that she has a kilt and I don't

That's still cool though! What colour did she get? (And don't forget pics of you both when you get your kilt!)

Congratulations, and hope you get yours soon.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

She got the green one. Out of the ones thay carry I personally think it looks the best.

I will definetly post pics when mine arrive!

I ordered on March 12 and didn't ask for a rush, so I will wait just like a good little impatient boy!!

I love Hot Topic (see here: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/k....html?p=494507), although I always feel a little too old to be shopping there.

Don't worry, soon you too will be outfitted in tartan glory!

    Be well,
I lived at Hot Topic when I was a teen, and still go in to see what interesting things they have. I too feel a little old to be in there, but it fits my personality! Around here it is the best place to find CD's (Flogging Molly), T-shirts, and bumper stickers with attitude.

i dig Hottopic too. I have one of those Tripp kilts and love all of the shiny stuff all over it.
It's perfect for a night out clubbing

Those kilts were all over the place when I went to the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Roanoke Virginia last year. They're pretty cool.
