My first tartan kilt ordered
I just got off the phone with Rocky at USAK. This being my very 1st "proper" kilt I wanted to be sure that I had all the info correct. I have ordered an American Heritage casual kilt, cream hose, red solid flashes and a kilt pin. Because I spoke to Rocky before I ordered I know he has the kilt in stock (recomended). Now I will have the pleasure of waiting for my new kilt. I know there will be teeth gnashing, pacing, internet checking etc... but it will be worth it.
The madness has begun!

Congratulations, sounds like you've ordered a good amount of accessories to compliment your new kilt as well.
A nice kilt is great and all, but you definitely have to have the whole outfit to look proper, and it sounds to me like you've ensured that you've done just that.
I hope the wait goes fast for you, and make sure to post some pictures once you receive the goods.
Slainte!

I'm a member of that same club too, Scully. Rocky told me by phone yesterday, and the USPS confirmed last night, that my newest kilt is enroute. Now begins the most intense jonesing one can experience.
Let us encourage and console each other.

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)

Congratulations on the jones.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Congrats on the new kilt purchase. I've never bought one of Rocky's kilts, but they always get excellent reviews.

My first tartan was a USAK casual too in US Army tartan. (see avatar) Enjoy it!

I will console you in kind.
There, there it will be over soon and all's well that ends well.
I will be jonesing all weekend (more like bouncing off the walls).
I saw that Rocky has another tatran I want on sale (Leatherneck 16 oz) soooo I may have to re-think the order of my kilt purchasing.
