My Kilt Addiction is Flaring Again
Dang!
Just ordered a Cameron Modern tartan wool kilt from Rocky 2+ weeks ago.
Now just ordered my 16th Utilikilt today - Digital Desert Camo Survival II....been stalking that one for at least a year, finally did it just because they tossed in a $30 UK belt buckle with the order. Got a larger waist size this time...outgrew the others.
I Like the digital camo look in the canyonlands - not sure how it'll look on an aging, pot belllied, bandy legged olde geezer though. Guess we'll see.
Maybe it'll go with my War One doughboy hat...sort of a clash of history, 1911 & 2011
That'll be kilt numbers 70 and 71 ever purchased, numbers 35 & 36 on hand.....
Guess I can blame it on a three check month....or early self-Christmas gift...or 23rd anniversary of my divorce....not the addiction....I'm fine....just a little therapeutic shopping....

Re: My Kilt Addiction is Flaring Again
Lets go with early self-Christmas...one of my favorites.
I just received a pair of Lewis hose and garter ties from STM.
I have ordered a few articles from Mojo Leather.
My wife's eyebrows are hiking up her forehead.

We all seem to get these little attacks frequently, and there seems to be no known cure for this very enjoyable pastime, look forward to pics

Re: My Kilt Addiction is Flaring Again
My addiction 'flares' at a constant rate! However, for me, all I purchase are 8 yard, heavyweight 'tanks' in 100% pure new wool (Macpherson) tartans, which are usually quite expensive - hence the 'great' lengths of time between kilt purchases - much to my chagrin!
I should also note, any Highland attire purchasing is strictly monitored by my wife, Stephanie, and even though she 'gets it,' she realises I would simply buy everything I could, or required in my mind, if given the opportunity. She keeps me in line!
Cheers,
