My kilt on a golfers forum

I'm a member of a dutch golf forum...all nice people, talking about the game, arranging golf dates, tournaments, golf trips and the usual social talk...a bit like this forum...same "we're a happy family" atmosphere.

I told before...my wife triggered my kilt wearing on that forum...she challenged me to start wearing a kilt...and I took the bait.

On the forum most made jokes about it, skirt remarks, what's under stuff, braveheart, haggis, the usual...

    I didn't mind...just replied "wait and see".

Now I posted a picture of me wearing my kilt there also....things changed overnight. No more funny remarks.

Lots of compliments (most from the female forum population btw) and now they start to ask questions about the kilt, the tartan and kiltwearing.

    Not a single skirt remark...

    Sweet

Why not combine kilts & golf. They both come from Scotland!

    Great story indeed Robin.

It is funny that people do give some inteesting comments until they find the true person behind them. Glad that your humanity stopped the comments. Also I agree with GlassMan as to combining kilts and golf, they do go hand in hand.

I might look like I'm doing nothing, but at the cellular level I'm really quite busy.
