My new argyll jacket has arrived!
Hello folks,
I just thought I'd share the fact with you that I'm overjoyed about my new argyll jacket. I had it made to measure as a rush order. arrived in 2 weeks after order. arm length is 74 cm (go go convert to inches =/) and overall length of the back is 70 cm.
Will post pictures as soon as I can. it fits perfectly and is entirely hand-tailored!
Had a shitload of discount too.. happy me.
and concerning my earlier kilt hose thread- I got blue/green blended piper hose. they are perfect as well.

Hello Howard,
I got it from Carrynette, some 80 km away from my home.

Congratulations, it seems like quality stuff from the link, I look forward to the photos.

Can't wait to see the pics mate! I've got an off the rack Argyll and it fits perfectly everywhere but is a little too large in the waist (I've been rockclimbing for years and am a bit wider in the shoulders and across the back and have a skinny waist) and have been toying with the idea of springing for a made to measure.
Were you at all worried about the fit? Did you have a tailor measure you?
Scotty
Before you judge someone be sure to walk a mile in their kilt.
That way you are at least a mile away and you have their kilt...

What's the chest size? it is just about right for me as to length
