    my new belt

I was up in Stratford Ontario the other day and dropped in on my old friend Robert at R-kilts
    http://www.rkilts.com/
I had few hours to kill so we had coffee chatted a bit (well a lot )
and got up to date with what we where up to, and all the latest news.

I was looking at the belts he makes,as mine is a bit small now, due to me putting on a few pounds. he very kindly agreed to make me one as I waited and watched. very well made. it was kinda cool to see Robert at work.

he has a nice little shop/workshop on York street, and later in the evening we went a few doors down and had supper in a nice little cafe.

thanks Robert for a nice day and a very nice new belt.

oh yes I forgot, I got a nice new pair of kilt sox too. bit itchy for me due to the 25% wool, but it was not too bad.
the silver buckle is an old one of mine, the black powder coated buckle is one I got from Robert that day

Phil it was a blast! I was so pleased to see you come to the shop.
Also to catch up on your business ventures. It was awesome.
It's not often I have the opportunity to make something with the customer watching the process, I truly enjoyed that.
Take care mate hope to see you again soon
    Cheers
    Robert

Congratulations on the belt, I've got one of Robert's belts and just love it. It really is a nice we shop, and Stratford is a great town. Glad the photo worked out as well. Perhaps we can get you out to the next kilt night we have in Stratford.
