My Son 's first time out in a Kilt

Yesterday was a big day for my 24 year old son. It was his first time out wearing a kilt. I remember seeing a thread about posting kilted photos from landmarks. So, we went to the worlds largest Buffalo (Bison) to snap a few pictures. My son told me that he heard a couple of guys talking about me as he came up behind them. One said "Hey is that guy wearing a skirt?" the other one said "no dumb a$$ that's a kilt." I think it's wonderful that some people are smart enough to know what a kilt is.... and then to "educate" their friends

Good for him. The first time out in a cilt isn't always easy, but it sounds like he had a good time. I'd sure like to see the pics.

I love it. I was on campus the other day and there's a new addition to an old byuilding going up. Some department overturned a pot of gold and they're rebuilding a structure that had a fire in it a couple of years ago. The construction guys mostly don't "get it" and I get some looks. Yeterday one of the guys was hauling out a load of garbage and said...."There's a guy with a kilt on!" and gave Me the thumbs up...

    ...which I returned of course.

    You just never know.

It is always great to hear those sort of comments. It gives me hope that everything is right with the world. Bless his friend, for being so intelligent, now to get him out of those pants, and into Kilts.
