My Sunday.
Went to a couple stores on Sunday, a store called Garden Fresh Market (fresh produce and whatnot) and the other i'll get to in a moment.
At the produce store, no comments, just interesting looks from people.
The real story from Sunday came when i went to a local mall for a Valentine's Day gift for my wife. She, like most women who have had two kids, doesn't think she's as hot as I, her husband, know she is. So I decided to go to Fredericks of Hollywood to get a little something for her to remind her. Unbeknownst to me, the mall stores opened at Noon. I got there at 11:45 and sat on a bench. Plenty of time for stares and looks from passersby. The teeny-boppers waiting to get into a shop where they do hair and nails; the guy in the ballcap walking with his girlfriend who gave me the uncomfortable "sup, man" as they walked by.
Then it really hit me: I'm going into Fredricks of Hollywood kilted. All I could think about where the teenagers and what kind of smartass teenager I was. Like "What would I have said about the guy in the (percieved at the time) skirt going into the Lingerie store?" FULL ALERT: PREPARRE FOR SMARTASS COMMENTS!
But there were none.
Was a good day.

What you focus on becomes your reality.
You can't control what other people do or say, you can only control how you respond.

I'm guessing that the guy that said, "'Sup, Man" probably wanted to ask you about the kilt.

From my experience, "sup, man" from a young teen translates into "your pretty cool, for an old guy"!

You've got a big set if you went into Fredericks of Hollywood in a kilt!!! I have trouble walking by that place without blushing....... or looking.

That's too funny, but at the same time, why should it even matter. A kilt is one of the most manly items of clothing a lad could wear. Going into a store like that only proves how much more of a man you are and an even further hit with the ladies.

+1, no better place to show the ladies how a true man dresses!
