Looks like I'm not eligible to sign as I'm not a US citizen. I'm surprised there haven't been many more signatures though. All sorts of similar petitions to the British Government get banded around the internet here and even some of the more bizarre ones whose causes you wouldn't expect to be very popular claim to get 200,000 + signatures.

I think this is a great idea, I looked at the calendars we have around the office, it is not on any of them.
I had considered going around the office with some colored pens and drawing a tartan on the block for April 6.
Be sure and sign the petition.
