NE Scotland auction that might be worth checking out...

Well wandering the interweb thingy this morning and ran across an auction house in Huntly that has at least a few military kilts going under the hammer... Might be worth looking if you're local... Never know what other kit might be there... And overlooked because it looks old/unfashionable...

Lot 33 looks to have a safety pin holding a pleat together. But if you are a grand seamstress or tailor these might be just dandy purchases.

I believe we have a few peeps.from that area... of course my sense of scale has changed a lot since ive been on this side of the pond... Aberdeen to Edinburgh would be a quick jaunt... but then I drive almost 50 miles to work too...

If the price and condition are right... There's plenty of pipe bands in the area, so im sure finding someone for repairs wouldnt be to hard

    507 miles - 10 hours 16 minutes - no stops. I don't think I want those kilts that bad.

But if I was only 200 miles closer...

    Regards

    Chas

You're just too busy, I guess.
