Need a translation please

Could someone please give me a translation of the English phrase "Family First" into Irish Gaelic.

Literal translations from English into other languages usually don't work-- what helps is if you can explain exactly what you wish to convey. Then the person doing the translation can come up with an exact meaning.

Using Google, I came up with "family"- clann, "important"- tabhachtach. Might be close?

What we're looking for is not a literal, word-for-word, translation but more how would an Irish Gaelic speaker would say the phrase "My family is the most important thing in my life" or some short phrase that conveys the same message.

Or in other words if there were a Clan Crest Badge with the motto in Irish Gaelic that meant "Family First" what would that phrase be?

There's no good way to put it, but here's two phrases I came up with that might work. What do you think?

I put my family above all: Cuirim thar gach uile ní na teaghlach.
The family is supreme: Tá clann ardcheannasach

Is this a great bunch of people or what?

Now, can you change it to mean "Family" in the sense of Immediate Wife and Kids only instead of "Family" in the sense of the whole Clan?

Or perhaps something like "My Family (Wife and Kids) over or before my Friends." "Family before friends"
