Neepawa meets Mr. Kilt.

After the nasty cold weather we've had since we moved, it finally warmed up enough for me to start wearng my kilts again. I used to brag about how the bitter cold didn't bother me, but I changed my mind after we got here. -35C and windy just wasn't my cup o' tea.

Karen and I spent the day at an antique & collectible auction in town and I decided it was time to find out what the locals thought of a kilt. I got lots of looks, but only one comment. One elderly fellow asked where I was playing. I told him I just prefer to wear a kilt and thought that was pretty cool. All in all a good day, and we even managed to buy a gorgeous old rocking chair for the new house.

Tomorrow night we're heading over to the theatre to see a movie. It'll be interesting to see/hear the reactions.
