    New Book

One of my co-workers brought in an interesting book this morning. Culloden, The Swords and the Sorrows. Loads of pictures and information on the swords, targes, dirks, and firearms from the '45. Inside cover states "An Exhibition to Commemorate the Jacobite Rising of 1745 and the Battle of Culloden 1746". This exhibition was held at the Visitor Centre on Drumossie Moor from 16 April to 20 September 1996.

Ant the good part you ask? When I asked him to let me know if he ever decided to get rid of it, he asked if $20 was ok. OH YEAH. It's paperback but in excellent condition and a total of 96 pages. Looks like I have a great addition to the bookshelf

$20 is a STEAL!!! That book's been out of print for quite some time, and is highly coveted. Well done...!

I think it was last printed in 1999. I also have a copy and it is one of my most prized books. Brilliant display of weapons that will certainly leave you with a sword addiction to match your kilt one! ;)

Search on the net, found copies for $43-45.

Culloden: The Swords and the Sorrows

Looks like Joe found it and posted before I did.
