New job going well... I've already seen a kilt on campus!

I started my new job yesterday. I'm settling in and things are going well. I think I'm going to like my new position.

I was pleasantly surprised this morning. I looked out my classroom window and I saw a student in a kilt! A USAK to be exact. If I can track the kid down, I'll make sure he knows about xmarks.

It'll be nice to not be the only kilted one on campus.

Congrats on the new job, glad to hear all is well so far. And there are other kilties to boot, couldn't get much luckier.

35 years ago or so in Dublin (!) one used to see Count Randal MacDonnell of the Glens (The only Chief who is both an Irish and a Scottish Chief) going to class at Trinity College in his kilt... And last time I was up at the University of Edinburgh I spotted the redoubtable Archie MacPherson scurrying across campus in his kilt on his way to lecture first year law students. I think University campuses (campii??) are a sort of breeding ground for emergant kilties.
