New Jonesing Record for a Gordon Kilt
I won this on September 8th and it just arrived today (59 days). It came by row-boat from England. That was almost a terminal case of Jonesing. I had only today submitted an item not received notice to E-Bay, before the 60 day limit. I came home to go bike riding w/ the PCS and there it was. It was all I could do to keep my bike riding promise. That's why this picture is taken as the sun was going down and I was still wearing my biking shoes. This is fresh out of the package after being at sea for almost two months. It fits perfectly. Two months ago it would have been too big as I've been eating and working out a lot the last two months. The Previous owner also sent me a Gordon embroidered patch.
It was 66 F out when this picture was taken and it was warm after riding. I'm sure this won't see much summer use. But, it will be my kilt of choice for our week of winter. This is heavier than anything I own and it has an excellent swing. I'll be sure to post a picture after some pressing and dressing.

Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

Looks great. It is amazing how long things can take to cross the pond sometimes, I have had stuff arrive in days, and others take months. Go figure!

It's hard to beat a Gordon modern to the stripe. Especially if there is considerable yardage... tons of pleats doing their thing.
The only other gordon I like more is the red.
Kick ass.
