New kilt coming

My wonderful wife has put in the order at Stillwater for a Standard Weathered Mackenzie for my Yuletide gift! So now I have to jones for almost a month before I can pull it out of the box.

Maybe it will be a short lesson in the jonesing that occurs when ordering from a "traditional" kilt maker, just for further referencing. In fact, while I wait on my Newsome, I have ordered two SWK just to fend of the Jones!

As someone who has been on Matt Newsome's waiting list, as well as Barb Tewksbury's waiting list, and a few others, I really have to say waiting a month is nothing. Heck I waited longer than that for a pair of hose.

Rocky is going to get my business for the first one, my wife wants to visit some friends that we found out live a few blocks away from Rocky, so once it is done, we're going to drive up to pick it up
