New Kilt on order.
Thought you might like to know, I’ve just pulled the trigger on one of these.

And again as modelled by Hamish.

Hope Derek and Hamish don’t mind me borrowing their pictures but I can’t find any other decent ones of the Kilt and pleating as worn.
It’s a Randonnée Bretonne (Brittany Walking Tartan). The Kilt is being made by “Tartan Web” in 13oz wool. It will be pleated to sett (as per the one above) and should be delivered in 4-6 weeks from now... (Just in time for Christmas, there's handy). Can’t wait. I only paid for it this morning and I’m on edge with anticipation already.
There are plenty more pics of the tartan in this 2007 thread from Derek
I’ll review it when it turns up...
Best Regards John

Another acquisition, and surely more to come..
Maybe it's just me but often a tartan looks waaaaay better once you see it on a kilt rather than up close. That ones looks busy, but actually made into a kilt and worn, excellent.
Congrats!

This has nothing to do with me. If you look very carefully - I'm the good looking one.
Can't wait to see the kilt John.
