Aw, take the heat. We always tell them what they need to know. Well, sooner or later.
You're going to have a wonderful kilt in a great tartan. I've seen that tartan on kilts before, and it's terrific.

The Kilt is coming through Tartanweb dot com. They are not an X Marks sponsor so I'll not place a link. Exchanged emails with Mr McDougall this morning and the wait is 12 weeks (no biggie) so they are aiming for delivery in mid May.
It's from their Standard, 8 yard heavyweight-all Tartans range. The blurb about them is on the page. It's an absolute cracker of a deal but I hadn't planned on hitting the go-button just yet. It has been nagging at me for about a month though.
Incidentally I bought my 13oz Brittany Walking through Tartanweb and that's a smashin' kilt too. Same kilts were at one time also provided by Bobilishious. Some of you may have heard of him.
Best Regards John

I love reading about when someone gets a new Kilt, and still has an enthusiasm about it.
Congratulations.

I just received word from Mr McDougall today. The fabric for this kilt is being woven by DC Dalgliesh from their K1 15/16oz range. Some of the finest heavyweight, worsted wool available.
That snippet of info just tightened the screw on my yearning I can tell you. Only 4 weeks to go... (Blimey!!)
Best Regards John

John, first off: I love the tartan. Second: I just had a tank made by Wallace Catanach, Waterfallkilts, and the fabric is the same as yours... Dalgliesh in K1. Wallace stated that it's the best material he's ever worked with. Enjoy the wait! Den
