Smile New Kilt and A Question

Well I just pulled the trigger on a Graham of Montrose tank and an Argyl jacket from Reid Kilts. This will be my first brand new kilt, my first full-on "tank" and my first Jacket! Jones, jones, jones. I'll post pics when they arrive.

Question-Anybody know where I can get a replacement cork for my Scotch. I bought myself some 14yr Oban for my birthday and the second day I had it the cork broke in half. Half came off in my hand and the other half is stuck in the neck. I know how to get the cork out but don't want to until I can reseal the bottle.

Hope you're having a good one,
    Hugh
God bless the kilted everywhere and all who see them!

The kilt! It gets in your blood and cannae be removed through medicine or magic.

Hi, Hugh – I can’t wait to see pictures of you in my regimental tartan.

Put the Scotch in a crystal decanter or simply find a cheap bottle of booze with the same size cork.

You may have to go through several until you find the right size...

I like to keep mine in a crystal decanter too. But most liquor stores have wine bottle stoppers. Just don't let the stopper get spoiled on the good stuff, it'll never want to go back to wine, only whining.

What regiment uses the Graham tartan? The irony runs deep here my father's middle name was Hugh and of course his last name was Graham.

I have no idea how to put a cork IN a bottle of Scotch. Never tried or done it. But I have to ask,,,,,,

Why bother? Drink it. Problem solved.
