    New Remnants available.

I just check the Fraser and Kirkbright site for any new tartan remnants (they update every month), and they are some really nice ones that may interest a few of you, including:
    MacDougal - 16 oz
    MacBeth -10 oz
    Royal and Green - 13oz
    etc.
The can all be seen here : http://www.wooltartans.com/tartans5.htm

For those of you that didn't know, Gordon is also a member here and is also the guy that is doing the Xmarks tartan. I have dealt with him in the past and he has always been a great help.

That Royal and Green looks awesome! I bet it won't hang around long enough to drop into my price range ;)

I second that Gordon Kirkbright is a gentleman and a great guy. F&K has always done right by X Marks and I love the poly/wool remnant gray tartan I just bought from them.

I'm hoping that before July some RCAF tartan will be there, but I'm not holding my breath. Probably not too many ordering it.

Anyone notice that the royal and green is also this? I was mentioning to Mr Kirkbright how much I wished I could have got some of Bear's tartan. He informed me that the royal and green on his site was the remnants of that.

I reckon I'm going to have to get another job to get all this material made into kilts. I bought the BC tartan that was on the site, I'm getting some RCMP tartan (my sister-in-law is a member and my kids idolize her) and now some of the SOB tartan. It's a good problem to have

That tan and white would make one sweet suite for summer time.
If you could get a jacket and Kilt out of the 9 meters, Use tan/brown buckels for the Kilt and maybe a light wood type button for the jacket.
That stikes me and seems like and awsome combo.

I am suprised nobody has said they were going to get some of the MacDougall. For 16oz wool, that is a great price.

I want...no I need 4 meters of the MacDougall. Both sides of my family, the Livingstons and the Walkers, are septs of the MacDougall clan. Alas, Saturday all of my kilt money went into keeping our van safe to drive
Maybe...just Maybe, there will be some left when I get a decent commision check.
