New Social Group: Steel Bonnets

I'm extending an invitation to all descendents of the Border Reiving clans to join me in the social group I created: The Steel Bonnets.

Principal reiving clans were:

Armstrong, Bell, Burn, Charlton, Crozier, Dacre, Dodds, Douglas, Elliot, Fenwick, Forster, Graham, Hall, Harden, Irvine, Johnstone, Kerr, Maxwell, Milburn, Noble, Reed, Robson, Scott, Turnbull

There were others involved as well, but that list is a little long for this post.

Border Clans

You may add "Caig". Although not a clan our family comes from the Dumfries/Kirkcudbright/Gatehouse of Fleet areas. We are actually a sept of the Farquharsons of Invercauld.

A Robertson here, thinking fondly of the Raid on Angus ... probably because it's lunchtime.

Just like both of our ancestors were on opposite sides of the border way back then, so are you and I today Yank. Should I need to worry?
