    Talking new sporron

This my new sporron I made from a $20 leather back pack I purchased in Sea Side, Ore. at a store that sell all sorts of leather goods for no more than $20.
I removed the shoulder straps. the two tassels are from a very small sporron I got "free"? with my black watch tartan kilt. I pop-rivited them on and glued the gold caps over the rivit.
There was a D-Ring carrying handle that I removed and the 3" long loop that it was in is where my sporron belt fits.
The leather itself is hide from my cousins (sheep hide) so is not real durable
but with a little care It should last quite a long time. It is quite soft.
The sporron is 10 in long, 9in wide and 3in deep, so it will hold almost every thing but the kitchen sink.
The hasp on the flap is magnetic and it had two sets of zippers so is good for left or you poor right handed people.
I already carry to much stuff but it keeps that "smilin Bob" look on my face.

    Talking correct you are Blu!!

It has three different pockets and is getting to heavy, so I guess I shall have to off load some of the things I really don't need to carry oround all the time.
Such my uzie, and the five pound can of nuts.
Anyway it is a very useful sporron.
I thought a person could afix some rabbit fur (real or fake) to the flap and a few other glofications and end up with atleast a semi dress sporron.

where I picked it up at?

Seaside Ore. I puchased the original back pack a shop on Broadway that sells leather and canvas bags for no more than $20.
I am thinking of returning and see I if there is a little bit smaller version.
I trade off with the SWK sporron I purchased from there over stock/blemish section, for $10. It is a good sporron but to small even for my uzie, let alone a 5# can of nuts.
