    Before you judge someone be sure to walk a mile in their kilt.
    That way you are at least a mile away and you have their kilt...

    Oh! I saw that same picture in the Burns Supper thread that you posted.
    And without reading about it (and this thread) -- seeing it, I thought to myself --- wow, what a gorgeous kilt!!! Congratulations! The aran sweater is awesome too! Phil, I remember seeing your picture in that kilt -- awesome!

    Thanks for all the kind words everyone.
    The sweater was brought back from Scotland to me by my parents about 8 years ago, it's very comfortable, and 100% wool.
    The Officer's Model Sgian Dubh is a nice tool to have along. After an initial breaki-in period of loosening things up it opens very smoothly, and is quite functional.
    As for the exchange rate it did help me out, but not sure how the rate is Down-Under right now.
