    New Year's Eve

I had the best experience of my kilt-wearing life on New Year's Eve. My wife and I went to the local ballet school's performance. The performance was wonderful and I, knowing that it was a formal occasion, wore my best. How wonderful to see all those people dressed up in formal attire! Another friend of mine also wore a kilt. We had many, many positive comments. We were even thanked several times for wearing kilts! How I love to see women in skirts and dresses and men wearing kilts. Others in this forum didn't have such wonderful experiences on New Year's Eve, and I'm sorry for that, but how wonderful the evening was.
Refreshments at the ballet included champagne, and I, as promised, lifted one to Matt and the moderators of this forum.(Well, there was no champagne glass on the smiles list!)

    Kiltman,
I, too, had a great experience on New Year's Eve. (See my thread "My New Year's Experience") Glad you had a good time!

The Arts and dressing up have been our New Years for 4 years now. Being kilted really added a new dimension to it. I'm glad to hear of your wonderful outing. Kilt on into the new year!!
