Newbie, With a Question

Most likely I'm in the wrong forum, but as time goes on, I'll learn where to go.
I have a question concerning a kilt company here in the USA. I have read some older posts about ClansmanKnitwear, and warnings to stay clear of them. Unfortunately for me, I was not aware of their reputation before I placed an order with them. On January 3rd this year, I placed an order for over $300.00, a pair of tartan trews, a vest, and a ghillie shirt. I was told that the trews would be custom made in Scotland and it would take 8 to 12 weeks before I would have them. This past wednesday was the 8th week since the order was placed. True, it may take up to 12 weeks, but, I have not been able to contact this company for an update on the order status. I get no replies to e-mails, nor can I reach them by phone.
Has anyone who has had problems with them, ever resolved those problems ? Or am I just out of luck ?

My tales of woe are in some early threads. Hope things eventually resolve for you in a positive manner.

The only thing positive I have to say about the operation is that its been a while since I've seen anything negative about them...

Hang in, pester, demand satisfaction in a polite manner. Remember he's a middleman and has no control over whoever he contracted the work out too.

Consider going direct next time. Usually saves money and problems.
