    Nice to see ...

As I walked passed the bus stop yesterday this lady said to me 'Nice to see someone who takes care of their appearance. You look very smart'. I was'nt wearing anything special other than my Cilt and Army surplus pullover etc and my rucksack over my shoulder. I simple said 'thank you' and carried on. I don't think she would have said that the day before though. Please read on.
The wife, myself and friends (33 of us in total) have booked on a 40 seater boat which will take us out to the Flat Holm Island in the Bristol Channel later in April. There we will spend 3 hours being shown around the bird colonies, seals and wildlife etc. Takes 30min to get there 45min on the return. I have a suspicious feeling that I may be the first Cilted guy to have gone on the Island .. at least maybe the first Welsh Cilted guy. I'll have to ask the wardens when we get there. There are quite a few of us now talking in Seafairing terms to one another for a bit of fun. I did go and buy some extras from one of the shops in town, that I intend to wear when we leave port.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks a kilted pirate is perfectly natural.
