Well as some of you may know I've been trying for sometime now to save enough to buy a 7 yard machine sewn Co Fermanagh kilt.

After taking my measurements and sending them to HR in Drumnadrochit ( Sorry Colin this time I'm first Tee hee!!) I got an e-mail back to say that with my waist size an 8 yard hand sewn would look much better.

Apparently,just between you and me I'm not the stick insect I once was.. So now I'm Another £50's lighter as it where

Er..... Well what can I say..........I caved Why! oh, Why! did Linda say that. I was quite happy ........(saleeswomanship I suppose)

and I'm now the expectant owner of yet another 8 yard tank from HR....I'll never understand this kilt thing....Never....

Turn about is fair play, David!!! You keep popping those sporrans in front of our faces, and we're in the same boat!

Do I REALLY need another sporran? Probably not.
Does THAT sporran look really cool? Oh yah!
Am I going to wind-up spending more? Well... duh.

My problem is that I'm saving for my next hike. Yet I keep seeing these Freelander sporrans everywhere, and I really want one. And a jacket and waistcoat. Do I want to hike, or do I want to look good?

Hi, my name is BJ and I have no willpower.

I have 3 tanks, a survival UK (I sold the other UK... I got too fat), an AK, a handful of Stillwaters, and a handful of SportKilts (some of which are on eBay now, so bid early and often!)...

Oh, and I'm planning on getting another tank in Scotland in May...

So glad you gave in. When I first tried on my new 8 yrd., hand sewn Drummond kilt two weeks ago, I knew I had made the right choice. You'll be happy you went with it.

My problem is that my not being a millionaire means I tend to be very hesitant or debating. I suppose it's a good things because I'll do my research and then think and think, and ask some questions, and think some more.

It can be a bit of a pain for those I keep bothering though!
