    Non-kilted kilt experience.

I was at Home Depot with my wife and daughter. I wasn't kilted. I ran into a couple that I remembered but didn't know from where and didn't know their names. A few minutes later, we're all in the same aisle. The woman then asks me if I'm the man that wears the kilt to on voting day. We chat for a moment. She looked at my legs as if asking "where's the kilt?"

Sorry man...if you can't convince her what in the heck can I do?? My own wife doesn't listen to me...fortunately she digs the kilt though.

Isn't it funny though, how we become known as "The Kilt Guy." I think that's what I'm universally known as in this little bitty town. Ask for me by name and you'll get a blank stare. Ask where the "Kilt Guy" lives and they'll give you directions to my house along with my license plate number and description of my truck so you can find me if I'm downtown(which is only a block long).
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.
