I'm breaking my long silence on this forum to let you know that North Channel Kilts in Seattle is apparently selling off a whole lot of their rental kit.

Kilts are Black Watch and Lindsay, but they have sporrans and formal jackets/vests...shirts etc. etc. as well.

I do not know this retailer, the notice just came out on one of the local Celtic Society mailing lists that I'm on. Good luck.

Mrshoe--I must have dialed wrong...it was early; got right through and now own a Black Watch kilt. Cost was $140 for the kilt and $15 for shipping. Great guy closing shop after 20 years to have fun.

Please understand that I know NOTHING about these folks. I merely am passing along an e-mail that came out on the local Celtic music listserv. I e-mailed them yesterday late afternoon, asking about size 13 ghillie brogues. We'll see.

Also...keep in mind that they are probably a brick and mortar store that just so happens to have a website, not a business that lives and dies by business on the web. So if their website isn't designed to your personal specifications, well......
