Patrick's a good guy. I've dealt with him since 2002. I think he's preparing for his retirement from kiltmaking, though. Thought about picking up one of the kilts he's offering, but they're 3" too long. Oh well.

Geared up both my kids, and the eldest in full black tie attire excluding brogues for 120 bucks. and the toddler with kilt and sporran and bowtie for just over 40 bucks. And at those prices I won't pop a rivet if they damage them whilst they are learning the do's and don't's of wearing the Scottish National Dress. and completed my black tie attire for about 220 bucks, brogues, PC and vest, shirt, tie, more flashes, and a plethora of other things.

got the kilt in--as described. I've gotta say, its a nice kilt. The wool seems worsted--much smoother finish compared to my other kilt. Fit is okay. But, I like my handmade-for-me kilt better...no kidding! Comparing the two, this kilt has one pleat per inch and mine has two per inch. It hangs okay, but, the seat is not really where it should be. Of course, I'm comparing it to a handmade-by-a-master-kilt-maker-kilt. So, this one goes to my brother for his birthday.
