I know the thoughts on dry cleaning our wool kilts are as varied as anything here amongst the group, but if you're interested, McLean Cleaners on Chainbridge Road did a FANTASTIC job on my beer and mud stained X-Marks kilt. Pleats look fantastic and the best thing....only $10.50.

Wow, thanks for the info. I've been thinking of shipping kilts several states away for cleaning. Now I have an option here.

There was no hesitation what-so-ever when I called them and asked about it. A co-worker suggested them. I even think they have a code for Kilts in the computer! Afterall, the local High School is the McLean HIGHLANDERS!
