    not the kilt

interesting comment the other day, was out and about with my wife wearing my SWK Leatherneck, stopped to get something to eat, the young lady who waited on me commented that she liked the t-shirt I was wearing. Nothing was said about the kilt.

Sort of like my daughter when she was about 6 or 7 saw a Playboy centerfold, and remarked that the lady was lucky, she could go barefoot, but she (my daughter) couldn't as she had to have special braces on her feet to correct a deformity, and of course had to wear shoes all the time. It is all in the perspective.

I wear a triskel medallion. It is Roman- influenced Celtic, and therefore very angular and gothic looking. It actually seems to draw more attention than my kilts for whatever reason.

It is great to see that other things are noticed instead of the Kilt. Like an every day occurrence.

I would like to think that it would become that way around where I live. This is a very "conservative" community and the kilt is an "odd" sight for folks around here (unless the Highland Games are on or there is a Rev. War reenactment.
