Ode to the Celtic Cowboy!

Well, in his thread "A little Ticked" he mentions a recent situation where he helped a lady out in a restaurant because of his past paramedic experience and knowledge.

Well there's another story recently where his heroic qualities shined and few are aware of.

Early in the week of Halloween, while at work (Asst. Mgr. Spencer's Gifts), while kilted... He observed a young man whom was engaged in shoplifting activities. I believe the young man was trying to steal some panties.

As the perpetrator ran Aaron (Celtic Cowboy) chased him down. Now.. this was not a short chase. Aaron tackled the young man and restrained him over by the cellphone booth near the food court. I would estimate that the this location is about 100-150 yards from Spencer's gifts. Aaron did bruise up his hip real good a walked with a real good limp for a few days. But, he got the guy... whilst kilted. As the story goes, the cellphone salesmen recorded the whole act with their cells and promised to post on youtube but never did.

Now, most of us should not do this, we are not trained for such things. Aaron is an ex-law enforcement officer, and can take care of himself much better than most of us.

As it turns out, the young man ran because he was in violation with his probation officer. Now that young man has an automatic sentence.

Anyway, I personally nominate Aaron as an X-Marks the Scot hero! He has personally helped in two major situations in less than one month. One as a medic and one as a citizens arrest. One could say: "DON'T MESS WITH THE CELTIC COWBOY!

Well done! Another example of kiltwearers not being "lemmings".

Daniel thank you very much my friend. By the way all I only took chase due to the fact the person tried to strike me and I was afraid he may hurt someone that had nothing to due with what had gone down.

Good work. It'd be great to have a picture of him with a lasso.
