Oh no, I did it.....the tank

OK, I bad!!! I finally sent a check to Wallace Catanach for the purchase of a new kilt, in MacDonagh tartan. The material ~ heavy weight ~ will be woven, since it's a rare tartan, by D.C. Dalgliesh. It will take up to 10 weeks. Oh, can I survive that long????

Needless to say, I'm excited for the tank to arrive. I WILL be posting it upon its arrival, so please stay tuned kiddos.

Wallace, has gotten nothing bout great reviews, so I decided to go with an up and coming kilt maker. His communications with me, via email, have been superb.

Oh, I think I just bought myself a Christmas present!?

It's a terrible thing, the waiting. Many men here have consoled themselves by buying the odd sporran, or pair of hose, or sgian dubh, or Argyle, or kilt belt, or, or, or...

    My congratulations and commiserations.

    regards

    Chas

Oh yeah you did it alright! Good for you. In looking at your previous posts I'd say you're fairly advanced in our addiction and at such an early point! Now you experience the bittersweetness of a true Tank Jones!
