    Oh NOES! The Jonesin'

Awww.... I just got an email from Matt....
saying that I am in the que and that my kilt will be started, and completed in relatively short order. I had put this outta my mind for a while... just so I can avoid the "Is it here yet?!? IS IT HERE YET!!??!?!" mindset. Now that I know that I no longer have much of a wait... yeah... we all know that feeling!

To top that off...O'Neille emailed me earlier this week, saying the kilt I ordered from him is in the mail. Damnzit! We need teleportation shipping, as well as some sort of temporal manipulation device for this *affliction*.

Talk about a birthday present/xmas present to me. If things go smoothly, I should at least have one of the pieces by then. Heh.

I have been out of power for two days... we had a bit of a gust, and it knocked a fair amount of the power out throughout western WA. I just got back online this morning... well, at least there was good news in my inbox!!

I ordered a kilt from USA Kilts, and just heard from Rocky this past week, that it is finally being made. First it was 6 weeks away then 8, but now the time has come and I will have my first tartan kilt for Christmas. YES, I know, I will post pictures later. It should be shipped out this week!!!

    DALE.

WAIT is a four letter word, and can cause more pain, for me, than most all the others.

Except for maybe WORK. I think they called it that because all the other nasty 4 letter words were taken.

Saw a reference to 4 letter words and had to throw that out there.
WAIT can be a pretty nasty 4 letter word...depending.

I can trump you on the jones Andrew. I don't get my money until the 8th of January (Being a full time student I get my living expense money once a semester.) I already have plans for making my next kilt, but even though I can get the material then, it'll have to wait 'til February before I can start because we're moving in January...

Patience is a virtue, they say, but it's not one that I possess in great quantities.

YES! I love reading about folks getting their Matt Newsome kilts. It means mine is one closer! I'm still hoping for mid-January. Rocky at USAK also let me know that my Gunn casual was shipping Friday, so I'll be seeing that some time this week. weeeeeeeeeeeee!!

I am also a student, put not full time yet (financial aid issues... never get enough money), but I am looking to change that (partially with the loan refund stuff you mentioned + my main part time job (both jobs are part time))...so I am in a similar boat, but not an identical one. I know how it feels. I went all kilt crazy the first time I got a refund, that's how I ended up with a few different ones.
