    oh, the tease!

I came home today to find a final invoice in the mail from Burnetts & Struth. It says that my kilt shipped out last Thursday. Which mean it should be here any minute now!!! Well, perhaps not any minute, but certainly by the end of the week. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks exactly since I ordered it.
The jonesing hadn't been too bad, but now that I know it's en route it'll be torture!

We call it "exquisite anguish"; it's akin to "Getting there is half the fun."

My first woolen kilt is a B&S casual. It's a consistent delight. And B&S is the only vendor in my experience who has delivered the goods three days before the charge was posted to my credit card.

Most pleasant people to deal with.

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)

I know the feeling. I ordered a tank before Christmas and was told that the special weave would take 10 weeks, then it had to be made. Well, I'm going goofy! Fortunately, the material arrived this past weekend to my kilt maker...way ahead of schedule. Yippee!!! Now, I'm jonesing until the kilt is completed. Hang on Snoopy, Snoopy hang on...........

It did indeed arrive. My kilt from B&S arrived 3 weeks and 2 days after I ordered it, and not an extra rush charge in sight. Great service and a great product. Pics and a bit of a review HERE.
