    Oops! Kilt aggro!

    Oopsie! Ha ha ha...
I just laid down my deposit for one of Matt's box pleats in the German national tartan. I say it's about time I sprung for one.
    Now the horrible part...
waiting until I can chuck the remaining balance his way (only two weeks I know), and then the wait for the completion of the kilt.
So that is going to be 3 tailored kilts out on order.
    The addiction continues!

The German National is a FANTASTIC tartan (I have 1 too). You should thoroughly enjoy it.

When it's finished, post some pics of it with the box pleats if you can... I'd like to see that!

It'll be a while before the garment is finished. It'll be two more weeks before the garment is truly started, and then whatever the construction time is from there.
I got the German tartan because my mother is German, and because I liked the tartan itself, so it fits two bills, aesthetic, and heritage... ok so 3 at once...aesthetic and both German, and Scottish bloodlines. From everything I have seen, and read, Matt makes great kilts, and from my own personal contact through email and whatnot, Matt is an honest guy, who actually cares about tartan, and it's history. Sure the guy is a businessman too, but it's always nice when there is that level of interest.
