Order of the Dandelion

Hey all! Not sure exactly where to post this, so please move it if needed.

I have noticed several people are members of: Order of the Dandelion. How does one become a member (or are we already members by being xmarkers)? I am still very "green" to my Scottish heritage and I'm trying to learn as quickly as I can.
