The order is placed!
I just ordered my first kilt, an Edinburgh Kilt from Alphakilts. Now I'm just counting down till the day it comes it. Has it been two weeks yet? I don't know how people wait 6 - 10 weeks for some kilts. I'd be climbing up the walls!

Congratulations, if you think 6-8 weeks is bad, I once waited for 9 months for a kilt, it was worth it in the end.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

It better iron itself, on Sunday mornings while hanging in the closet, and must let itself in/out automatically for a nine month wait!

Congratulations. You now have a condition known as "Jonesing". It isn't fatal, but it is barely treatable and is only cured (briefly) when the object of the "jonesing" is obtained.
Jonesing Symptoms, a primer:
First Trimester (in your case only a few days): characterized by sweaty hands, queasy stomach and multiple trips daily to the website you ordered from to see sample pictures of what you ordered.
Second Trimester: All of the above, with the addition of finding excuses to be at home when (a) mail is usually delivered or (b) the FedEx/UPS truck usually comes through your neighborhood.
Third Trimester: All of the above plus a near-constant sense of time warp (i.e.) the sensation that it's been 2:30 for at least the last two hours, but your watch has only just moved to 2:31. Caution, patient can exhibit sleeplessness and irrational behavior as they enter the last couple of days of the third and final Jonesing trimester. In extreme cases, Postal Workers have sought restraining-order protection from "jonesers" in the throes of the late-third-trimester.
A prescription: buy two sporrans and post to us in the morning.
