| | | ordered my 1st kilt
Okay, I made the plunge today and ordered my first kilt. Thanks to the members here who have answer all my stupid question I feel like I will be able to strap it on without looking like a moron.
I ordered a SWK in the Nightstalker tartan, a Rob Roy sporran, and black flashes. Locally I picked up a pair of grey hose, and a thistle kilt pin. I'm waiting to buy a belt until I can see how it all comes together.
I'm still up in the air as to which shirt to wear. I have a NZ All Blacks jersey which I think will look good, but make for a dark outfit. I think I'll be looking for a nice grey, or blue button down shirt to go with the outfit.
Anyways, as soon as I have pics I'll do my best to post them for everyone to see, and as ussual, any advice is welcomed.
Thanks

hmm...
is it me, or do I sense some jonesing coming on?
oh, you might want to just go ahead and get your belt now. You will be very unhappy if you have everything but the belt and buckle.
scotwebstore.com has plenty of belts and buckles, and they deliver VERY quickly.

Sounds like you've thought this through quite well. Listen to Kilted KT, though, and get that belt. As soon as you have the rest of that stuff in hand, you're going to want to step out in it. Don't be held back by lack of a belt.
I bought my black belt and chrome buckle on Ebay.
