    Ordered My First Stillwater Kilt

I placed an order for my first Stillwater today -- a heavyweight in Black Watch. I've heard that with Jerry's usual service the "jones" is more of a "mini-jones".

So I'm guessing I'd better go charge the camera batteries to avoid that whole "pictures or it didn't happen" business?

Is it there yet??? Jerry's flying squirrels must be delayed by the weather or the great nut crop.

    Jealous.

Be sure and post pics Ghostlight~ I'm seriously tempted by Stillwater, particularly now I've discovered they do a McLaren tartan as standard.

You'll be very happy with your Stillwater.

All but one of the kilts I've owned are from Jerry. A Black Economy (to be shipped this weekend to it's new owner), a Saffron Standard, and my newest a McKenzie Thrifty.

I was a little concerned about the Thrifty not having straps, but I find that I don't miss them.

Congrats! SWK heavyweights are a steal and Jerry's service is... well... legendary! I've got the MacRae and Green shadow heavyweights and dig them both.
