    Our wedding

    Hi all

My wife and I just had our marriage blessed in the Catholic Church (it was a second marriage for both of us, therefore, not a big ceremony). So, it was a day for wearing a kilt! See below

Best was I spent the whole weekend of our honeymoon (well not the WHOLE weekend ) kilted. Spend Saturday touring New York City whilst wearing my tartan, and had a grand time. Got a lot of compliments, and a guy working at the statue of Liberty turned out to be a kilt fan too and wanted to know some suppliers. I of course sent him here for the ads.

And -- the conductor on Amtrak turned out to Scottish, and wished us luck, and said 'Wear it pride, lad!'

    It was a great weekend

    Tony

    Everything's better when done kilted!

Well done, Tony, on the blessing of your marriage, and on your kilted appearance.
I should think you were not kilted all weekend (you were on honeymoon, after all), but it is good to hear that you were not in trousers!
Is your hair actually longer than your bride’s? (Of course we can’t see in that picture, since her hair is gathered at the back.)
May you have many happy years together.
    Regards,
    Mike
